Important Update: Removal of Level 4 “Student Test Results Detail” on All Tests
To maintain the integrity of our test bank and ensure the continued validity and reliability of our
test questions, and with the endorsement of our EMS Program Director Advisory Committee,
Platinum Educational Group will remove the option of Student Test Results Detail Level 4 on all
new tests administered in EMSTesting.com beginning February 1, 2025.
What is the “Student Test Results Detail Level”?
When adding a test to a class, the instructor can select the level of detail students can see when
viewing their test results.
Level 1—Score Only Review: Once the student gets their results, it will only show the
score they achieved on the test.
Levels 1, 2—Extended Review: This option shows the student when they started and
ended the test, as well as how they performed on the test based on Bloom levels, Cut
Score, and Reading Level.
Levels 1, 2, 3 — Curriculum Breakdown: This option adds a full curriculum breakdown
showing the topic areas included on the test, how many questions appeared in those areas,
and percentages of how the student performed on the topics. This will give students a
better idea of which areas they performed well in and which areas could use some
review.
Levels 1, 2, 3, 4—Full Question/Answer/Annotation Review: This level, which is being
removed, provided the students with a complete question, answer, and annotation review
for each question.
The “Levels 1, 2, 3, 4—Full Question/Answer/Annotation Review” will no longer be available after February 1, 2025. However, instructors will still be able to review all test items, including questions, correct answers, and annotations, with students when reviewing the “class detailed results” from the Class Test Results page.
