New Appendix G – Recommended Competency Minimums

Tom Gottschalk, COO

Since the summer of 2017, Platinum Educational Group’s team has been working diligently getting Platinum Planner ready to support reporting in the new CoAEMSP G format. Like other EMS industry rollout we have been part of, like the National Registry Paramedic Portfolio, there has been much to do on many aspects of our business. From our education standpoint, to the software development environment, and our customer support world, we have been very busy preparing for the changes that will impact our industry.

On July 1, 2018, the initial fruits of our labor will go live. A full year before the new Appendix G changes need to be implemented! Below is a short list of upgrades you can expect to see on the Monday after our deployment.

  • A brand-new course creation template that will ease you into compliance with a just few clicks and customization.
  • Streamlined hands-on skills tracking and scenario grading.
  • Instant click and review of the “new” G reporting that matches the CoAEMSP standard.
  • Plus, other enhancements customers and our advisory board have recommended.

In the next few weeks we will be publishing even more Appendix G changes. Be sure to watch your email and the Platinum Educational Group website closely for updates. As with all important industry changes, we have also hit the road to educate as many folks as we can! Please check the current Appendix G workshop schedule to see if you can attend! We also plan on scheduling more App G workshops for the second half of the year as well.

As we get closer to launch time, there will be much to share. Stay tuned for the next generation of PlatinumPlanner.com!
