Add a course option for “Enable Skill Documents”

Located on the Dashboard if you Edit your Platinum Planner course you will see a new option to Enable Skill Documents.

This toggle will allow schools to hide the PDF documents that appear in the Lab documents and Opportunity Documents tab that are Associated with Skills.

Students can view their Completed Scenario Documentation!

Now located in the student role who is part of a scenario class. If they navigate to Scenarios and Manage Scenario Documentation. They can find their completed Scenarios in the Completed tab.

License expiration field for preceptors!

Have you ever wanted a spot to track preceptors License Expiration?

Well, we added it.

Located in your School Administrator Role or Instructor role in Manage Preceptors. You can select Edit and at the bottom add in a License Expiration date.

New Progress Report Filters!

Located in Progress Reports as a Student, Instructor, or School Administrator you will notice a few new filters to filter the report by.

  • Display hours progress
  • Display lab skills progress
  • Display scenario skills progress
  • Display clinical skills progress

By toggling the Yes/No filters you can limit the progress report view by just those fields selected.

Allow students to request to be removed from an upcoming opportunity!

Allow students to request that instructors return their documentation!

We have heard the request many times and came up with a solution for all. “I accidentally signed up for the wrong shift. Can you remove it?”

Now the student can request this action and their instructor will be notified. What they would do is navigate to My Opportunities, Click on the Upcoming Tab, and Select Details on a shift.

At the bottom, they can enter in a reason (optional) and then click request removal. At that point it would send a message to the instructor and they could then follow the prompts on their Platinum Planner Homepage to either Approve or Reject the request.

This leads into the other update that allows students to request that their instructors return their documentation. Again, in the student role, My Opportunities, Click on the Submitted Tab. Select Details, and at the bottom the student can enter in a message (optional) and request their documentation be returned. Then like before the instructor will be notified, and they can click the action item on their Platinum Planner Homepage that will redirect them to Approve or Reject the request.
