Platinum Announces Collaboration with Hudson Simulation Services

As a leader in EMS education, Platinum Educational Group provides the highest quality instructional tools and resources at an affordable cost. These resources include testing, scheduling, and reporting, but also simulation, moulage workshops, and scenario-based aids as well. Platinum is pleased to announce its new collaboration with Hudson Simulation Services (HSS), developers of the SimVS Virtual Monitor System, in its mission of assisting EMS training institutions in reducing the cost and complexity of medical simulation.

The new collaboration will greatly streamline the effort required for instructors to document scenario performance for portfolio requirements. Instructors scoring scenarios on the SimVS platform will be able to then automatically upload and populate the scenarios into their Platinum Planner account.

“We are very excited to partner with Platinum on this initiative. The commitment of both organizations to supporting educators as our primary mission make this a natural fit” said Greg Vis, founder of Hudson Simulation Services. “Time is the greatest limiting factor in an instructor’s day. We believe that this integration effort will maximize the time instructors can actually spend with their students.”

This collaboration provides Platinum Educational Group customers with easier access to affordable high-quality foundational simulations and scenarios to best prepare their students for the workforce. Platinum provides online assessment, linear, and computer adaptive testing, as well as, online clinical tracking and student scheduling. This relationship reinforces their emphasis on preparing students in all facets of proficiency.

Doug Smith, CEO of Platinum Educational Group stated, “The importance of having cost-effective useful preparation tools for all EMS training is immeasurable. We are very pleased to work with HSS as it provides a very beneficial service to our schools and their students.”
